Here Comes Christmas!

Well, the Halloween stuff is barely down...and here we go...time for the Christmas season...Yay! I love evrything about it...the get togethers, the presents, the crafts, baking, oh, and snow...i love it too! ( sorry people who hate it!)

It's Been Sweet...

I am sad to see that Halloween is over...and now on to the next holiday...Thanksgiving....but I am starting right in on Christmas....It has been fun meeting so many new people over this past year on my Blog and Flickr...I have truly enjoyed it, and have been blessed with so many new friends...you are all talented, fun people!

Here is a cute little devi pixie, that a Flickr friend sent me..I LOVE him! ( She has sent several of us one) Anyhow, he came still in his original bag...with a tag that says Dikkens (that's his name) and he was made in 1968...I will always treasure this fun, truly vintage gift! ****check out my Flickr site for more Dikkens photos...we have formed a group around this guy...

Candy Container

I made this last year for a friend, as a hostess gift...he is more like a candy bowl, as he stood about 14" tall. I put candy in his head ( orange and black wrapped peanut butter taffy...my friends fave) I may try and make some more of these...it depends if I run out of time...

Hi, everyone...it sure has been a while since I have posted anything...I guess I have too many things going, with Flickr,Etsy, Facebook, that I have been neglecting my Blog! Anyhow, Summer sure has flown by, but now Fall is approaching...yeah!!! This is my favorite time of the year, and I am busy making Halloween things...which I will post as I get them done...also stop by my Etsy shop and take a look. After 2 years, I finally have put something in it! Happy Labor Day weekend to all!

These are bigger buckets than the smaller treat cups...I still need to put handles on them and add a few more things, but I thought they were bright and fun for the summer, or any time!

As you can see, I am crafting and making things like crazy....the problem is, I start too many things, before I completely finish the previous one...I am very ADD when it comes to crafting...I guess once I get going I think of a million things, and want to do them all at once! It's not working....I have tons of almost finished projects, so I am trying to make it my goal to actually finish up a few things every week, so I can actually put these things in my Etsy store! When I finally do get them in my store, there will be ALOT!

I just made this for a friend of my Mom's, who recently got two new chihuahua puppies. After I made the one for my Mom, she thought her friend would like one as well, so here it is...the photo isn't that great, but you can get the idea...

Bad Taco

This a paperclay sculpture of my Mom's bad chihuahua, Taco. He looks very cute and sweet, but he bites everyone! Anyhow, she just LOVES him, so I made her this for Mother's Day...and I bought a bottle of OPI nail polish, that was called "My chihuahua bites" inside. When I saw the name on that nail polish, I couldn't believe it! Had to get it.

Just a "few" yoyos I've been making...I like to sew these while I watch TV...I find it mindless and therapeutic. I have a ton more than these. I use alot of them on many of the things I make.
