Happy Spring

It's so wet in Ohio, I wish the sun would come out and the rain would end. We have had 28 days of rain and clouds in April...only 3 days total of sun all month, and May isn't panning out to be much better, so far...5 days of rain and clouds for this coming week, ugh! I am getting depressed....my lawn looks awful, and I can't even get outside to clean up sticks and leaves from the Fall/Winter. Oh, well, in the mean time...I found this cute little pixie pic I took awhile back...sitting on a huge mushroom, that had sprouted in our side yard. I thought she looked happy and Spring like...so, Happy Spring, and may warmer and sunny weather eventually make it's way to us!...Please?

I saw this idea on Pinterest...and i don't really like Peeps, but I know a lot of "Peeps" that do...so I decided to make some...and as usual, I went over board, because they were fun to make. So, I bagged them up and sold them at work and gave some as gifts.

B Is For Brent

I made this for my husband, Brent, for his birthday a few years ago...I have also made one of these for all my friends and family, as gifts at one time or another....I just get big paper mache letters and paint them, then embellish them with whacky stuff...or things that are their interests, or hobbies...I put family names, kids, pets, etc. in them as well...or I go with a particular color theme...whatever strikes me at the time. They are fun to make...I love gluing the stuff on ...reminds me of crafts in grade school, only I'm better at it now LOL!

I ♥ Needle Felting!

We learned how to needle felt at work several weeks back...and I absolutely love doing it! It is so much fun, and quite easy...and I find it very therapuetic...you may have seen the patriotic elephant that I posted a bit ago, that was also done in needle felt...I thought I'd share a few other things I did as well...I have actually been felting up a storm! I am workin on some funky Halloween creatures...they will be unveiled later this summer.

Batman and Robin

As I stated in an earlier post...I love Batman....I have several Batman shirts, books, etc...and my husband is a huge Batman fan as well...so for his Birthday last year I sculpted him this cartoon version of Batman and Robin...still need to add capes. His birthday is quickly approaching again...gotta do something else...maybe Bat Girl or Cat Woman?
